DIY Bracelet Inspo & Instructions

• INSTRUCTIONS •

STEP 1: Tie a loose knot or fold some tape over one  end of the elastic cord. This will prevent the sequins from sliding off while you work.

STEP 2: String the sequins onto one cord and keep adding sequins until you have achieved the desired length to fit your wrist. You can create your own design or see the below bracelet photos for design inspiration. 

DESIGN TIP:  The beads are intended as spacing between the holographic or iridescent sequins included in your kit.  You will not be able to see them shimmer on your bracelet if you do not use the spacer beads.  So, be sure to reserve the beads for these special sequins to show off their sparkle!

STEP 3: Tie off with a secure, tight knot. We like using a simple, tight double knot. Trim off excess string with scissors once you are confident the knot is secure. Once tied, be careful to not tug or stretch with force because elastic cord can break if pulled excessively.  

 

• DESIGN INSPIRATION •

Mermaid Kit Inspo: On the close-up bracelet shown above, use two sequins of the same color, and then alternate to the next color, use two sequins of the same color again, and keep repeating the pattern until finished.

 

 

Funfetti Kit Inspo: On the close-up bracelet shown above, use two sequins of the same color, and then alternate to the next color, use two sequins of the same color again, and keep repeating the pattern until finished.

 

Mermiad Kit Inspo:  Alternate sequin colors in different amounts to create a unique bracelet just for you!

 

Funfetti Kit Inspo: Alternate 5 sequin colors in equal amounts (about an inch thick) and finish off bracelet off with black or white. 

 

Any Kit Inspo:  Alternate black and white sequins in various clusters of 3, 4, or 5 sequins for 1/3 of the bracelet.  Use bold blocks of black and one color to create this bold bracelet!

 

Any Kit Inspo:  Reserve the beads to use between the holographic or iridescent sequins in your kit.  There are enough beads to create one bracelet like this, so we recommend using them on the special super-sparkly sequins.
